Guardian Unlimited  won this for the third consecutive year.  The Webbys, now in their 12th year, are known as the Oscars of the internet, being the most prestigious international internet awards.


guardian.co.uk also won Best Daily Newspaper on the Web in the Newspaper Awards from 2000-2006.

Interactive Media Awards 2007
In June 2007, the Guardian, in association with Intel, produced Secondfest, a 3-day music and arts festival in Second Life.  

The IMA Awards were established to recognise and celebrate the most effective examples of marketing and advertising using the internet, mobile and interactive TV.

Secondfest also scooped this award, with the judges noting that it was "a media first, delivering great branding for both publisher and advertiser in an innovative environment and delivering relevant content to a discerning audience."

Martin Amis' series on Tony Blair's farewell tour won in this category.  The judges said "Mesmerising - great brand presence and fantastic integration of stills and video."

Islamophonic is the Guardian's weekly audio programme about Islam.  Judged to be "original and interesting.  Great unique content and good production: excellent witty edgy journalism."

Media Week Awards 2007
The Guardian's Advertisement Department won both Gold and Silver at these awards for their Total Audience UK and Grad Facts 2006 research.

Campaign's Media Awards 2007
Judges praised the team's use of audio and video and highlighted specific campaigns including the Audi Future of Food and the award-winning Secondfest.
