Our new home
Over the past few weeks, Guardian News and Media have been gradually moving across to our new building in King’s Cross. We’re all in now, in a beautiful building a far cry, but a short walk, from Farringdon Road.
Kings Place
Kings Place is one of the most environmentally friendly buildings in Europe, a key consideration for our organisation.

Where before we were scattered over 10 floors and 5 buildings, Kings Place allows us to work together and move forward into the 24/7 digital future. You can read what Alan Rusbridger, editor of the Guardian, has said about the move here.

The move to Kings Place marks the end of a significant year for Guardian News and Media and for the Advertising department.

The Guardian and The Observer have increased readership more than any of their daily and Sunday quality press competitors. The Guardian's readership is up by 12.6% year on year, whilst The Observer's readership has risen 2.6%.

In November, The Guardian was the only national newspaper to see a monthly rise in its circulation and one of only two to see a year on year increase.



guardian.co.uk became the first newspaper site to attract more than 10 million UK unique users in October and 26 million users worldwide - firmly holding its position as the most popular UK newspaper website.

It adds more unique reach to Guardian News and Media's print titles than any other quality newspaper site. Moreover, we deliver the biggest cross-platform reach amongst all national newspaper titles, with 17% of the total audience reading the Guardian and The Observer both, in print and online.
Guardian Jobs
Guardian Jobs got off to a flying start with The Recruiter Award for Best Job Board and the OnRec award for technical innovation.

guardianjobs.co.uk reached an average of over a million unique users a month.
Grad Facts 2008 arrived to give key advice to graduate recruiters and to finish off the year, we won the National Online Recruitment Award for the Best Online Recruitment Section by a Consumer Publication for the second year in a row.
